Carson to Marlette Flume loopDirt route on Old Clear Creek Rd, Carson City, Nevada "This is a nice loop with not too much pavement. Hobart road is fairly steep, but rideable. IMO it's a nice ride on a gravel bike, as there is minimal sand and nothing technical. Be aware that Old Clear Creek road is signed private, and you will have to go around a couple of gates. The owners used to allow bikes to pass, but it is unknown whether they care. An alternative would be to descend the Clear Creek MTB trail." |

Carson City dirt circumnavigationDirt route on Jacks Valley Rd, Carson City, Douglas County, Nevada "Go around the Capital City on nearly 100% dirt! It would be do-able on a gravel bike, but it includes a lot of singletrack and some very rocky sections, so an XC MTB would probably be more fun." |

Sunrise Pass-Como-Dayton-Carson CityDirt route from Unnamed Road to Morgan Mill Rd, Carson City, Douglas County, Nevada "Here's a fun, adventurous, remote route to connect from Johnson Lane/Sunrise pass through some great backcountry to Dayton, and then on to Carson through the really beautiful Carson River canyon. The route beyond Sunshine pass is pretty rugged, and most would likely prefer a mountain bike. The descent from Como to Dayton is long, fast, and rocky." |
